The last task for BBAW is future treasure ,to tell what you thought of BBAW this year and future blogging plans –
1. I ve enjoyed BBAW found some wonderful blogs and a couple of new books I want to try ,been interesting to see what people like in other blogs it has suprised me ,and shown maybe I should try a bit more with my own blog at times.
2.Plans well I m planning on some major changes on the blog over the next year ,I m moving away not fully but partially from translation fiction I d say maybe 25 % English books the rest in translation so still high ,and stopping concentrating on new books so much I hope to cut down on review books gently over next twelve months and read books to my schedule ,also doing longer more thoughtful reviews and a couple of readalongs ,the biggest thing I ve found in blogging is getting caught up in things ,well I m trying to avoid that ,I also want to make my comment more meaningful on other blogs. Also more great discussion posts and feature posts also try and complete around the world in 52 books .

Good luck with your blogging plans for next year, Stu. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you and your blog since we both started blogging (around the same time it seems). Keep up the good work 🙂

Good luck with those goals Stu, both are great. I’m sure that with your reading changing to include more older books and English books you will still be influencing my TBR and wish list, I’m happy to see that you will still continue reading a lot of translated work too.
sure I will ,it will still mainly be world lit ,but just few more english and us books than this year ,all the best stu

Hey Stu–sound like some great goals! In terms of readalongs, I’ve really been enjoying them this year as well–a great way to read books that I might need the extra push for. We’re talking about The Odyssey in November if you’re interested–nothing official yet, though. 😉
