Well I’m asking for some of the more tech mind of you for some help I’m wanting to do a huge translation challenge in 2014 based around bingo my idea is to produce a number of virtual bingo cards .The cards be for Western Europe ,Eastern Europe ,rest of the world ,translators and publishers in translation the idea being people could keep score get four corners a line and hopefully lots of full house .Now my help is needed in how to make these cards for the blog ? I’m not the most technically knowledgable blogger so any help or guidance be welcome I se this as a real fun way to get people reading in translation as its interactive and a challenge also be great to keep a score board of people’s achievements through out the year .Si if you have any advice on where it how to make cards that look good and are simple to do it be really welcome

I have no idea but it sounds like a great idea. I’ll keep looking for an update
You could probably find a template for a Bingo card on the net or else just make a simple one using a table format. People could then take the card and put it on their own post. Once a book was read/reviewed the individual blogger could put a big X over that square. I’m just thinking ideas here, nothing firm in mind yet but will think about it more. Sounds like a fun plan.
This is a great idea but unfortunately I’m not versed in the technical part of it. I hope you find someone.

Great idea Stu.
I wish that I could assist but my technical knowledge is insufficient.
i look forward to seeing the finished work!
I have no tech advice, Stu, only lots of excitement for your great idea. When you have produced your board, I can’t wait to participate.
(My solution would be to write it by hand and photograph it for your blog. 😉
Stu,
Wouldn’t you know? I think this could work without too much trouble, and I’m extremely eager to play. But, yes, you guessed it–I’m not tech-savvy enough to offer advice. I liked Travellin’ Penguin’s ideas, though, and think they may be helpful.
I’d advise you to keep asking around. And I’d recommend posting this entry again when more people are back from vacation.
I’m really keen on this!
