Well, I can already say that there are one or two I’m not especially in favor of winning. We’ll talk about that later. However, I am so excited to complete my reading of the list. Perhaps I’ll have to take a few days off of school in order to do so. 😉

Stu, you always make my reading pile larger. The Marías and Knausgaard books were pretty amazing.
They were a tough year for a winner some great books on the list
Some great-looking books on this list – it’s great to see a prize that doesn’t list all the usual suspects and has lots of books that are completely new to me. It’s good to see The Mussel Feast making an appearance, but otherwise I haven’t tried any of these.

What omission surprised you most? For me it was Chasing the King of Hearts.
