  1. Nice post, Stu! Nice to see ‘The Mussel Feast’ and ‘Revenge’ on the list. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the longlisted books. Happy reading!

  2. Well, I can already say that there are one or two I’m not especially in favor of winning. We’ll talk about that later. However, I am so excited to complete my reading of the list. Perhaps I’ll have to take a few days off of school in order to do so. 😉

  3. I’m really looking forward to reading and sharing thoughts on the longlisted titles. I’ve only read four of the books thus far, so lots of fab reading ahead!

  4. Some great-looking books on this list – it’s great to see a prize that doesn’t list all the usual suspects and has lots of books that are completely new to me. It’s good to see The Mussel Feast making an appearance, but otherwise I haven’t tried any of these.

  5. Sadly I’ve only read three so I’ve a long way to go!
What omission surprised you most? For me it was Chasing the King of Hearts.
