  1. I picked up What I Loved by Siri Hustvedt and Only Say the Word by Niall Williams, both new-to-me authors that I have heard good things about.

  2. I got ‘Indian Summer’ by Adalbert Stifter from the library; it’s a thick book but I’m looking forward to starting it.

  3. Far too many, I’m afraid. But of particular foreign literature interest: the collected noir novels of Manchette and an intriguing translation of a Finnish novelist: Katri Lipson – The Ice Cream Man.

  4. The Helle Helle sounds interesting, lovely cover too. I bought a couple of books from the new Foyles: Things Look Different in the Light by Medardo Fraile (which I’ve been coveting since Spanish Lit month) and the new Ali Smith.
