I will be reading along with 10 other fine book bloggers will keep me busy for the next few weeks as we have our go at the IFFP 2015 long list. I have 12 of 15 books to read. Yikes!!!!
I absolutely loved The Investigation and am glad to see on the list, as I thought maybe it had been published too early and didn’t qualify. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on some of the others – only read two more, so…
I guess I’m making progress in getting into foreign fiction as I’ve actually read one of the books this year ( though predictably it’s the Murakami!) and have Look Who’s Back in my TBR pile. Last year I’d never heard of any of them so thanks to following you and others, you’ve at least expanded my horizons a bit and will look forward to reading what you think of others on the list.
What a fascinating sounding list! And like Col I have at least read one of them (“Look Who’s Back”, which I love). Must try to read more Peirene Press!

I’ve read The Dead Lake and thought it was excellent, and I have Boyhood Island on my kindle, so guess I will bump that up a notch on the TBR, but looking forward to hearing about the others, especially the little knowns, seems to be a theme on prize lists this year, the Baileys Women’s Prize for fiction had quite a few unknowns this year too. I think its great that the smaller presses are getting such great exposure.
I must admit, the list looks more attractive than last year’s – so much so, I’m not sure where to start!
